Sherry Cake

1 package yellow or white cake mix
1 package vanilla pudding mix
4 large eggs
3/4 cooking oil
3/4 cup sherry
1 tsp mace or nutmeg

Combine all ingredients. Beat about 5 minutes. Pour into a greased angel food cake pan. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Citrus Champagne Sorbet

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
juice of 2 lemons
juice of 1 orange
2 cups champagne
1/2 cup heavy cream.

Boil the water and sugar for for about 5 minutes. Cool and add the fruit juices and wine. Put in freezer until it just starts to crystallize, whip the cream and fold in carefully. Keep in freezer until serving.
